
We are looking for Packaging Engineers for the Cincinnati area. This position entails:
Immediate need for a Process Engineer who can work with the project engineer to advance block flow diagrams into P&ID’s and UFD’s Size food production equipment. Working knowledge of P&ID’s, PFD’s, UFD’s and heat and material balances related to food production and food equipment sizing. BSCHE with ten plus years of experience. A PE is a plus but not mandatory. This is position is based in St. Louis, MO.
Immediate need for a designer with process equipment and piping to develop layouts and detailed construction packages using AutoCAD and Microstation design software. A OSHA 10/30 hour construction certificate preferred. The primary duties and responsibilities in this position are as follows: proecess equipment and piping layouts using AutoCAD and/or Microstation and developing detailed construction packages. Familiar with food processing and knowledge of putting together construction packages.
We have a immediate need for a Process Design Engineer for the Indianapolis area. This position requires one to deal with diacetyl (butter flavoring) which is harmful if inhaled and also flammable. The company needs to design a turn-key system which involves transferring this material from the shipping container into some kind of portable dispensing system so that it is discharged accurately below the surface of the liquid with minimum exposures to the operators. They are dealing with dispensing quantities from one gram to 156 kilograms. These quantities will be dispensed at the lab top scales as well as into large processing tanks in the production area. The engineer will need to design, procure, install and train operators on the proposed system in a timely manner. This position requires a BS in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
We currently have a need for an automation systems engineer who has prior experience working in the consumer goods, family care and food and beverage, and/or pharmaceutical industries. Knowledge of one of the following technologies is required and experience working with batch processes: Rockwell ControlLogix, Wonderware Archestra, and/or Delta V.
Following skill sets are required:
Converting Engineer (Mechanical/Packaging) to execute project work from definition to execution through multiple engineering disciplines, construction and small mixed teams of engineering construction and operations and maintenance. With the opportunity to develop project engineering management skills through small projects. BS in Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering field with five plus years with converting equipment. Some familiarity with mechanical equipment such as conveyors and rotating equipment. With working knowledge of equipment selection, lad calculations and preparation of construction documents. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to include proposal writing.
