We are looking for Packaging Engineers for the Cincinnati area. This position entails:
Immediate need for a designer with process equipment and piping to develop layouts and detailed construction packages using AutoCAD and Microstation design software. A OSHA 10/30 hour construction certificate preferred. The primary duties and responsibilities in this position are as follows: proecess equipment and piping layouts using AutoCAD and/or Microstation and developing detailed construction packages. Familiar with food processing and knowledge of putting together construction packages.
We currently have a need for an automation systems engineer who has prior experience working in the consumer goods, family care and food and beverage, and/or pharmaceutical industries. Knowledge of one of the following technologies is required and experience working with batch processes: Rockwell ControlLogix, Wonderware Archestra, and/or Delta V.
Following skill sets are required:
Need for a Machine Process Automation Engineer with a BA/BS degree in engineering or related field and a minimum of 5 years professional experience. Must have experience in PLC Programming (any platform), HMI programming and DCS. Experience in working with batch processes and an in-depth knowledge of at least one of the following technologies is required: Rockwell, Wonderware, ArchestraA, Siemens and/or Delta V. Knowledge and expertise in high speed counting, machine vision, packML, and servo motion backgrounds. Evaluate new control system capabilities and service history; evaluating vendor service and support. The ideal candidates must have experience working in the consumer goods, family care, food and beverage, and/or pharmaceutical industries.
At least five years of professional experience required. Process Engineer will assist the project team in performing engineering calculations, generating drawings, and other technical duties. (S)he is expected to observe professional ethics; research and analyze data such as customer design proposals, specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility of design and application; carry out design calculations as directed by Project/Lead Engineers; review drawings as assigned and mark or make corrections as noted; evaluate field installations and recommend design modifications to eliminate system malfunctions; create or modify equipment specifications; contact vendors; and investigate and utilize applicable codes and standards. BS Chemical or Mechanical Engineering. Developing process engineering packages, equipment sizing and specification (i.e., heat exchangers), PFD & P&ID development, process safety analysis, and ability to read layouts.
As a CSS (Corporate Standards Specifications) who would be responsible for creating and managing a database for corporate standard specifications for a consumer products manufacture. This person must be trained as an originator who is able to write the structural data specs and is familiar with IPS and MPS Packaging Standards for different doc types. Process change request, verifying that each specification for manufacturing and distribution has met the current quality assurance standards. Must be detailed originated and technical background a plus and to read blue prints. Utilizing CSS (Corporate Standards Specifications) to migrate new and existing packaging standards to structured specifications for the packaging planning department. Must be proficient in MS Office software especially in Access.
Converting Engineer (Mechanical/Packaging) to execute project work from definition to execution through multiple engineering disciplines, construction and small mixed teams of engineering construction and operations and maintenance. With the opportunity to develop project engineering management skills through small projects. BS in Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering field with five plus years with converting equipment. Some familiarity with mechanical equipment such as conveyors and rotating equipment. With working knowledge of equipment selection, lad calculations and preparation of construction documents. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to include proposal writing.
Provide process and project engineering services for process driven projects. Ability to size and specify equipment such as pipes, pumps, tanks, heat exchangers, etc. Ability to develop PFD’s and P&ID’s, complete head loss calculations, a mechanical aptitude, and a minimum of 5 years engineering experience required. Petrochemical, environmental, HAZOP, process optimization, process safety, and energy savings preferred. PE preferred.
